A Matter Of History.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE AGENCY FOR SUPERNATURAL, SPIRITUAL AND PARANORMAL
INVESTIGATION INVESTIGATION AND LOCATION.



1922: The young scientist and gentleman, Christopher Harkstein returns from his world travels. After encountering strange creatures such as 'Drop Bears' in Australia, man-eating trees in Madagascar, and the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland, he
decides to dedicate his life and considerable fortune to the investigation into such phenomena.

1923: After his work into the investigation of carnivorous plants, he is joined in his quest to form The Agency by his close friend and respected scientist, Dr John Brammer.

1924: The Agency become a specialised, Government Agency for the first time,although still operating in secret with only Harkstein and Brammer as Agents.

1937: Harkstein undertakes The Agency's First Government requested investigation during his study into The Hindenberg Disaster.

1939: The Agency is disbanded with the outbreak of the Second World War.

1943: Agent John Brammer is killed in service during The Tunisia Campaign.

1946: Agent Harkstein discovers Nazi secrets hidden in an Underground Hospital during the liberation of Jersey. He immediately reforms The Agency, employing many of his regiment and gaining the immediate, renewed support of the British Government.

1957: The Agency goes from strength to strength and sets up a permanent home in a purpose built, secret base, hidden beneath a toilet paper factory.

1961: Legendary Agent John Willis, joins The Agency on a direct transfer from MI5.

1962: Agent Harkstein is killed at the age of 62, during his investigation into the collapse of The Severn Railway Bridge. Agent Lewis Robertson, an exceptional, young Agent and confident of Harkstein's becomes the new leader of The Agency at the tender age of 25.

1979: The Agency faces turmoil as a mysterious occurrence known as 'The Reaping' takes place across the globe. On a single day, July 24th 1979, eleven Agents including Chief Robertson are killed in suspicious yet unrelated accidents, whilst each on individual missions in different countries. Agent Willis and Agent Duchson are the only two Agents to survive the atrocities.

1980: The Agency is dragged back from the brink of extinction by the new leadership of a mysterious government peer, known only as The Director.

1981: After a review of Agency objectives, The Director names Agent Duchson as the Agency's Chief Directive Agent. An effective employment drive follows.

1989: The rural, British town of Coopers Peak is highlighted as a strong point of phenomena requiring Duchson to conduct a two year investigation into incidents in the town.

1991: Agent Duchson is forced to retire from active duty after being shot in the knee by a young assassin named Nika Marino.

1999: The Agency commission an extensive, three year investigation into a rumour that Lycans are infiltrating the British Police Force, with the intention of complete control. Agent Willis accepts leadership of the case, his last before retirement.

2000: The Agency experiment with mind control and memory removal techniques.
