Its been a difficult couple of weeks since I last managed to post my thoughts on here.
The mission statements from ASSPIL which I published the last time I was here, again, just like the timeline, seemed like absolute second nature to me. Deep down somewhere in the depths of my brain, the mission statements were both already there.
I recognised them almost instantly after reading them and before I'd even considered the relevance of the statements, I knew that there was something fundementally wrong with the later statement. I'll be honest and admit that I don't know what the problem is with it, but somehow I can sense that it is untruthful and seem to consider that there may have been a change in The Agency after The Reaping. I just wish I could recall my life as Agent Sure fully then perhaps these abstract philosophies may make more sense.
My supposed wife Shelley has once again proved to be intensely interested in my internet viewing, to the extent that we had yet another incredible arguement. The row raged for a good couple of hours and eventually resulted in me promising that I'd stop using the computer so much and her switching it off at the socket.
Weird thing was, after the arguement I lay down and thought about the mission statements again and almost immediately suffered with the worse migraine I have ever experienced, which begun with the left hand side of my head feeling as if it was burning. The really weird thing was, the migraine didn't go away until four days later?

Mission Statement.
ASSPIL: OBJECTIVES (1924).
The Agency (ASSPIL), has been founded by the honourable Christopher Harkstein and his gentlemanly friend Dr Johnathon Brammer, in order to investigate and document creatures and occurrences which evidently stretch far beyond the realms of human understanding.
As a now funded branch of the Great British Government, The Agency intends to investigate such happenings throughout the Empire and beyond, using the latest Scientific tools known to man.
The Agency aims to prove the existence of unusual life forms and paranormal events to the general public and science itself. Documents and photographic evidence will be publicised following every investigation The Agency is involved in and we hope, in time, to be able to eradicate the horror of the unknown felt amongst this country's people and prove the existence of all abnormal life forms.

Relationship Troubles.
Things are getting pretty heated in our household at the moment. My dear wife, the love of my life (or is she?), is becoming increasing interested in my Internet and email usage. Perhaps this is a regular issue of discussion in households up and down the country, but when you think that you are a mind washed government Agent, it takes a whole new shape. Shelley is beginning to become concerned by my obsession with email (although it is actually the case files that steal my attention) and is demanding that I spend more time with her instead of the computer. In fact I'm only managing to write this now as we've just had a blazing argument which concluded in her storming out of the house. The quest to discover my true identity is becoming more perilous by the day.
Her behaviour and the apparent realism of the files are steadily beginning to convince me that I am actually Agent Sure, although still nothing has jogged my memory like the name Agent Falcon did. A feW of the dates in the timeline I featured rung distant bells, but that could just have been coincidence, and maybe a couple of names struck a chord but without further detail, I couldn't really be sure? I think subconsciously, I just want to recognize everything I read as I cannot accept that there is no truth in this hefty document I have received. I guess only time will tell?
In amongst the various case files are some other ASSPIL information sheets, such as the time line I opted to publish last blog. As well as publishing the case files I am inclined to include a few of the sheets, I guess the public deserve to know the truth, not just about incidences, but also about The Agency.

A Matter Of History.
A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE AGENCY FOR SUPERNATURAL, SPIRITUAL AND PARANORMAL
INVESTIGATION INVESTIGATION AND LOCATION.
1922: The young scientist and gentleman, Christopher Harkstein returns from his world travels. After encountering strange creatures such as 'Drop Bears' in Australia, man-eating trees in Madagascar, and the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland, he
decides to dedicate his life and considerable fortune to the investigation into such phenomena.
1923: After his work into the investigation of carnivorous plants, he is joined in his quest to form The Agency by his close friend and respected scientist, Dr John Brammer.
1924: The Agency become a specialised, Government Agency for the first time,although still operating in secret with only Harkstein and Brammer as Agents.
1937: Harkstein undertakes The Agency's First Government requested investigation during his study into The Hindenberg Disaster.
1939: The Agency is disbanded with the outbreak of the Second World War.
1943: Agent John Brammer is killed in service during The Tunisia Campaign.
1946: Agent Harkstein discovers Nazi secrets hidden in an Underground Hospital during the liberation of Jersey. He immediately reforms The Agency, employing many of his regiment and gaining the immediate, renewed support of the British Government.
1957: The Agency goes from strength to strength and sets up a permanent home in a purpose built, secret base, hidden beneath a toilet paper factory.
1961: Legendary Agent John Willis, joins The Agency on a direct transfer from MI5.
1962: Agent Harkstein is killed at the age of 62, during his investigation into the collapse of The Severn Railway Bridge. Agent Lewis Robertson, an exceptional, young Agent and confident of Harkstein's becomes the new leader of The Agency at the tender age of 25.
1979: The Agency faces turmoil as a mysterious occurrence known as 'The Reaping' takes place across the globe. On a single day, July 24th 1979, eleven Agents including Chief Robertson are killed in suspicious yet unrelated accidents, whilst each on individual missions in different countries. Agent Willis and Agent Duchson are the only two Agents to survive the atrocities.
1980: The Agency is dragged back from the brink of extinction by the new leadership of a mysterious government peer, known only as The Director.
1981: After a review of Agency objectives, The Director names Agent Duchson as the Agency's Chief Directive Agent. An effective employment drive follows.
1989: The rural, British town of Coopers Peak is highlighted as a strong point of phenomena requiring Duchson to conduct a two year investigation into incidents in the town.
1991: Agent Duchson is forced to retire from active duty after being shot in the knee by a young assassin named Nika Marino.
1999: The Agency commission an extensive, three year investigation into a rumour that Lycans are infiltrating the British Police Force, with the intention of complete control. Agent Willis accepts leadership of the case, his last before retirement.
2000: The Agency experiment with mind control and memory removal techniques.

A New Years Resolution?
Well another new year is here, bringing with it the same old problems. Well not exactly in my case I guess. Have I made a New Years Resolution for 2010? Well you could say that. Its not the usual lose weight, give up smoking etc,etc, as I now only have a single vice, discovering the truth, and I will not be giving that up in a hurry.
Once again, after opening up the computer virus file I guess I felt a little familiarity again. There was nothing overly familiar, I didn't so much recognize the case or the name Agent Willis and there was no burning visual at the back of my minds eye. But the strange thing was, after I'd read the case file and shut my computer down, I could see an image of a small section of encrypted code, and was able to successfully copy the image down onto a piece of paper.
At the time I wasn't really concerned that it was strange as I usually have good short term recall and just presumed that I was remembering a diagram from the file I'd just read, but the thing was when I looked back, there was no illustration on it.
I thought this a little strange, but not as conclusive as my recall of Agent Falcon previously. I have thought a little about her since and it was like meeting an old friend again.
Im slowly beginning to believe that I am Agent Sure, although the evidence isn't quite compelling enough yet. The strange thing is with it all, if I did remember the truth fully, what would I do then? How would it change my life and what would I do with it?
The thought of actually knowing the truth is more mind boggling than wanting to know it. All I know for Sure, is that I must find myself.
2010 is definitely going to be a truthful year.

Gremlins In The System?
FILE NAME: Investigation into the first computer virus.
DATE: January 27th 1986.
AGENT(S) INVOLVED: Agent John Willis.
FINDINGS.
On the 19th of January this year (1986), what was quite possibly the very first, disruptive computer virus known to man, was isolated both in the USA and more intensely in Lahore, Pakistan.
It appears at first glance that the so-called virus replaces the boot sector of a floppy disc with itself. Although the (C)Brain virus as it has been called, was not reported to directly attack the hard drive of a computer system, instead simply laying dormant in the system, it has however been blamed for the corruption of saved files upon portable disc's.
On the 25th of January I was sent a floppy disc which contained a sample of the (C) Brain virus for scientific/ paranormal testing in our new techno spiritual monitoring system.
Publicly, the virus has been put down as the work of two brothers from Charminar in Lahore, allegedly being written without malice, as a copy writing measure.
CONCLUSION.
After intense testing we have discovered that the code written for the virus could not possibly have been created by a human. Strong kinetic readings were obtained from the damaged disc and my theory is that was a trail of residual damage left by an Electronic Demon, such as Storala, as he passed through several electronic portals.
Although no hard and fast evidence is available to prove such a powerful Demon's presence, I believe that he passed through my disc weeks before I had received it and that he is still at large somewhere in the world, hence the increasing incidence of software viruses.

Partial Recall?
I have not managed to sleep properly since the last time I wrote on here and opened up the second case file.
It was really strange, as when I first read the file on the Cando Event, I laughed heartily at how almost preposterous it sounded. Sure, I once again double checked the validity of the incident and once again it proved to be an airtight report, albeit without the alien space craft of course,and I was once again preparing to face up to a horrible hoax when something deep down in my soul prompted me to take a second look at the case file.
It was then as I read for the second time the name AGENT LAUREN FALCON that a flash of spontaneous light and sound lit up somewhere at the back of my mind and after a few seconds of abject confusion and terrible pain on the back of my eyes, a vision of a women I didn't even know appeared through the mess.
The women was tall,dark, sophisticated and not unattractive and the women was Agent Lauren Falcon, I was sure of it. I could see her in such clear detail, as if I'd known her all my life. As I read the case file for the second time, her writing style became increasingly familiar and I could almost hear her, in a well spoken voice, reading out the case file in my mind.
So I guess this was perhaps the first spark of recognition from the case files, reading the file on the Cando event almost made me feel like I'd known Falcon for years and has increased my curiosity to new heights.
I am beginning to wonder if the email form Agent Sure is, after all legitimate? There was definitely something in the name Agent Falcon that gave me a feeling of true familiarity and maybe even warmth.
I will go on to open further case files, of that I am sure. I need to uncover the truth, although I am also certain that I need to get Christmas over and done with before the potential sparks begin to fly, if only for the sake of my kids. If, that is, they are my kids?
Never has the Christmas period been such an inconvenience. Tis the season to be jolly, confused, tired and intrigued.
